Anindo Majumdar, born on 21 August 1960, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 batch of the A G M U T cadre. He holds a B.A. Honours in Economics, a postgraduate degree in Economics, and an M.B.A. in Business Administration. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Joint Secretary, Regional Director, Director, Principal Secretary, Capacity Development Adviser, Deputy Chairman, Chairman & Managing Director, Chief Secretary to Government, and Fin Commissioner Secretary. His most recent position was Secretary in the Personnel Department from 18 September 2018 to 31 August 2020.
