Anindita Mitra, born on November 7, 1978, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2007 batch, Punjab cadre. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh). Currently, she serves as the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Punjab, a position she has held since January 16, 2026. Throughout her career, she has held roles including Administrative Secretary and Secretary. Anindita is proficient in Bengali and English. She continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
