Anil Sant, born on 27 February 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a graduate degree in History. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Assistant Collector, Joint Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Chief Development Officer, Additional Commissioner, Special Secretary, Secretary, Director, Commissioner, and Secretary to the Chief Minister. His most recent position was Joint Secretary at New Delhi from 5 August 2017 to 3 January 2019. He was associated with the Department of Registrar General and Census Commissioner of India during his service.
