Additional Development Commissioner Director Equivalent, Department of Textiles
Anil Raj Kumar, born on December 2, 1959, is a retired IAS officer from the 1999 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds an M.A. in Political Science and an LL.B. from the University of Lucknow. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Additional Commissioner, District Magistrate, Special Secretary, Municipal Commissioner, and Secretary Director. His most recent role was Additional Development Commissioner Director Equivalent in the Department of Textiles from November 12, 2014, to June 21, 2018. Kumar’s extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the Indian Administrative Service.
