Anil Kumar Jha, born on December 1, 1963, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 Karnataka cadre. A graduate in Economics, he served in various capacities including Deputy Secretary, Director, Project Administrator Director, Project Director, Secretary, Managing Director, Chief Electoral Officer, Additional Secretary, and Special Secretary Equivalent. Most recently, he was Secretary in the Department of Tribal Affairs, New Delhi, from April 6, 2021, to November 30, 2023. Throughout his career, he held significant administrative roles contributing to governance and development before retiring from service.
