Anil Kumar, born on 15 September 1964, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2009 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds an M.A. in Philosophy from the University of Allahabad. During his career, he served in various capacities including Additional Commissioner, Special Secretary Forest to the Government of Uttar Pradesh, and Secretary. His most recent position was Commissioner and Registrar in the Department of Cooperative Societies, from 6 December 2023 to 30 September 2024.
