Anil Dhingra, born on July 6, 1981, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2008 batch, serving in the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Com degree and is a Chartered Accountant. Currently, he is the Managing Director at Gorakhpur, Government of U.P, since January 1, 2024. His previous roles include Commissioner, Managing Director, District Magistrate, Special Secretary, Chief Development Officer, and Joint Magistrate. He received the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration in 2020 for Inclusive Development through Credit Flow to the Priority Sector in District Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
