Special Secretary, Development and Planning Department
Ananta Kumar Bera, born on 24 September 1946, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 batch of the West Bengal cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Accountancy. During his career, he served in various capacities including Additional District Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Managing Director, and Special Secretary. His most recent position was Special Secretary in the Development and Planning Department from 4 August 2004 to 30 September 2006.
