Anand Sharma, born on 07 June 1987, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2013 Bihar cadre. He holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur, and an MBA in Marketing from Delhi University's Faculty of Management Studies. Currently, he serves as the District Magistrate of Madhubani, Bihar, a position he has held since 2 June 2025. His previous roles include Additional Secretary, Project Director, Collector and District Magistrate, Municipal Commissioner and CEO, Joint Secretary, Managing Director, Deputy Development Commissioner and CEO, SDO/SDM, Officer on Special Duty, Assistant Secretary, and Director. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
