Anand Kumar, born on 25 June 1967, is a 1994 batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre. He holds a B.Tech. and an M.B.A. from IMT Ghaziabad. Currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary in the Home Department, Rajasthan since 11 January 2024, he has held multiple key positions including Principal Secretary to Government, Chief Electoral Officer, Secretary to Government, Commissioner & Secretary, Housing Commissioner, Divisional Commissioner, and District Collector and District Magistrate. His career also includes roles as Deputy Secretary, Director, and SDO. Anand Kumar has been honored with a Scroll of Honour and a Merit Certificate. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
