Anand Kishor, born on November 6, 1971, is a 1996 batch IAS officer of the Bihar cadre. He holds a B.Tech. and M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of the Bihar School Examination Board since September 25, 2023. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Sub-Divisional Officer, Joint Secretary, District Magistrate, Divisional Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director, Managing Director, Administrator, Inspector General, Director, Special Secretary, Additional Managing Director, Principal Secretary, and Chairman. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
