Anand Bardhan, born on June 12, 1967, is a 1992 batch IAS officer of the Uttarakhand cadre. He holds a B.Sc. and M.C.A. from Delhi University along with a postgraduate diploma. Currently, he serves as the Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand since April 1, 2025. Throughout his career, he has held numerous key positions including Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary to Government, Infrastructure Development Commissioner, Agril Production Commissioner, Food Commissioner, and Collector and District Magistrate. Fluent in English and Hindi, Anand Bardhan continues to contribute to the Indian Administrative Service with extensive experience across various administrative roles.
