Amrita Soni, born on 24 August 1975, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2003 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. She holds an M.A. in International Relations and an M.Phil. in International Politics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, along with a B.A. in History. Currently, she serves as the Principal Staff Officer, Chief Secretary at Lucknow since 6 September 2022. Her previous roles include Principal Staff Officer, District Magistrate, Special Secretary, District Collector, and Administrative Officer within the Government of Uttar Pradesh. She is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
