Dr. Amrit Tripathi, born on 31 May 1981, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2008 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Sc. in Zoology and is currently serving as Secretary in the Higher Education Department of Uttar Pradesh since 29 July 2025. His past roles include Joint Magistrate, District Magistrate, Chief Staff Officer, Director, Chief Development Officer, CEO, and multiple tenures as Special Secretary. Dr. Tripathi has received awards in Public Financial Management, Finance for Non-Finance Professionals, and a Special Award for Innovative Measures. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
