Amrit Abhijat, born on 21 June 1968, is a 1995 batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He currently serves as the Principal Secretary in the Tourism, Culture and Religious Endowments Department of Uttar Pradesh since 18 September 2025. His educational qualifications include a postgraduate degree in History, a PG Diploma in Rural Development from IGNOU, and a PG Diploma in Environmental Laws. Throughout his career, he has held various positions such as Joint Magistrate, District Magistrate, Divisional Commissioner, Secretary Director, and Additional Chief Executive Officer. He is proficient in English, French, and Hindi.
