Amrendra Narayan Singh, born on December 8, 1949, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1992 Bihar cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including Commissioner, Secretary, Controller of Examinations, Additional Commissioner, Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Project Director, Additional Collector, Director, and Under Secretary. His most recent position was Chairman of the Bihar Staff Selection Commission in Patna from July 27, 2009, to December 31, 2009. Throughout his career, Singh contributed to the administrative framework of Bihar until his retirement.
