Amrendra Kumar Singh, born on May 8, 1954, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree and a graduate degree in Botany. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, Sub Divisional Officer, Assistant Magistrate, Director, Registrar, Special Secretary, Managing Director, Principal Secretary, Commissioner, and Additional Chief Secretary. His most recent position was Land Reforms Commissioner in the Department of Land Reforms from April 26, 2013, to May 31, 2014.
