Amlan Aditya Biswas, born on 25 August 1968, is a 1997 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Karnataka cadre. He holds a B.A. and M.A. and is proficient in Bengali, English, and Hindi. Currently, he serves as the Principal Secretary in the Public Works Department of Karnataka since 3 June 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Nodal Officer, Regional Commissioner, Principal Secretary to Government, Special Officer, Secretary to Government, Deputy Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, Deputy Secretary, Deputy Administrator, Assistant Commissioner, and Competent Authority. He continues to serve in the IAS.
