Amjad Tak, born on July 5, 1978, is a 2005 batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre. He holds a B.A. and M.A. in History from Rajasthan University, Jaipur. Currently serving as Commissioner at Arunachal Pradesh since March 6, 2023, he is part of the Education Department. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Resident Commissioner, OSD, Secretary, Special Secretary, and Deputy Commissioner. Proficient in English and Hindi, Amjad Tak continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
