Amitabh Kaushal, born on March 10, 1973, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2001 batch, Jharkhand cadre. He holds an M.B.B.S. degree and is proficient in English and Hindi. Currently, he serves as the Excise Secretary of Jharkhand, a position he has held since January 1, 2026. Throughout his career, he has held the role of Secretary in various capacities. Mr. Kaushal continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
