Amita Prasad, born on January 14, 1962, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 Karnataka cadre. She holds a P.G. in History, a B.A. (Honours) in History, and an MBA in Business Administration from Swinburne University of Technology. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including Additional Chief Secretary at Karnataka’s Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department from July 2021 to January 2022.
