Amit Yadav, born on November 2, 1965, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1991 batch of the A G M U T cadre. He holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry, an M.B.A., and an LL.B. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities including OSD, Chairman, Additional Secretary, Director, Joint Secretary, Commissioner, Managing Director, Counsellor, and Secretary. His most recent position was Secretary at the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, New Delhi, starting June 3, 2025. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
