Amit Singla, born on 27 August 1978, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2003 AGMUT cadre. He holds a B.A. and M.A. in Economics from Punjab University, Chandigarh. Currently, he serves as Joint Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs, New Delhi, since 14 September 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Secretary, Managing Director, Chairman, Adviser to Administrator, Counsellor, Deputy Secretary, Director, Deputy Commissioner, Commissioner, OSD to Chief Secretary, MD & CEO, and Advisor to the Administrator.
