Amit Singh Bansal, born on 27 October 1980, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2012 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.A. Honours in English from the University of Delhi. Currently, he serves as the Special Secretary in the Planning Department at Lucknow since 4 July 2022. Previously, he has held the position of Deputy Secretary. Fluent in English and Hindi, Amit Singh Bansal continues to serve in the IAS with a focus on administrative responsibilities within the Uttar Pradesh government.
