Amit Roy Chaudhury, born on October 6, 1966, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2011 batch, serving in the West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Physics. Currently, he is the Senior Special Secretary in the Higher Education Department, a position he assumed on January 1, 2024. His previous roles include serving as Senior Special Secretary and Additional Chief Electoral Officer. Mr. Chaudhury continues to contribute to the administrative framework of West Bengal through his ongoing service.
