Amit Rathore, born on January 22, 1972, is a 1996 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering. Currently serving as the Principal Secretary of the Commercial Taxes Department since January 25, 2024, Rathore has held multiple key positions including Principal Secretary, Commissioner & Director, Inspector General (Registration) & Superintendent of Stamps, Secretary, District Collector, Deputy Secretary, CEO, SDO, and Assistant Collector. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
