Amit Mohan Prasad, born on March 4, 1964, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1989 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Economics and a graduate degree in Physics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Chief Development Officer, Managing Director, Principal Secretary Equivalent, Chief Executive Officer, Investment Commissioner Secretary Equivalent, Chief Vigilance Officer, and Special Secretary. His most recent role was Additional Chief Secretary in the Handloom and Textile Department from August 31, 2022, to March 31, 2024.
