Currently, he serves as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, New Delhi, since March 2021. His previous roles include Deputy Secretary, Director, District Collector, Secretary, Sub Collector, Assistant Collector, and PS to Minister of State. Amit Meena was honored with the Prime Minister Award for Excellence in Public Administration in 2024. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Malayalam.
