Amit Kumar Das, born on November 22, 1945, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1989 batch, West Bengal cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including District Magistrate, Land Acquisition Collector, Joint Secretary, Election Officer, Joint Municipal Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, and Additional Executive Officer. His most recent position was Special Secretary in the Finance Department, held from January 5, 2005, to November 30, 2005. Throughout his career, Das contributed to administrative functions within the West Bengal cadre before retiring from service.
