Amit Kumar, born on January 1, 1985, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2010 batch, Jharkhand cadre. He holds a B.A. from Patna University and an M.A. from Delhi University. Currently serving as Secretary at Jharkhand in the Commercial Tax Department since January 1, 2026, he has previously held the position of Director. Fluent in Hindi, Amit Kumar continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
