Amit Kataria, born on 15 October 1979, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2004 batch, assigned to the Chhattisgarh cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering. Currently, he serves as the Secretary in the Department of Public Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education, Chhattisgarh, a position he has held since 22 December 2024. Fluent in English and Hindi, Amit Kataria continues to contribute to the administration of the state government.
