Amir Subhani, born on April 10, 1964, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1987 Bihar cadre. He holds postgraduate and graduate degrees in Statistics. Throughout his career in the Government of Bihar, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Development Commissioner, Joint Development Commissioner, Director, Managing Director, Chairman and Managing Director, Project Officer, Secretary, Principal Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary, and Director General. His most recent position was Chief Secretary at Patna, Bihar, starting January 1, 2022.
