Amarjit Singh-I, born on April 6, 1941, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 batch, Punjab cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including Under Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, Additional Secretary, and Special Secretary. His most recent position was Special Secretary in the Human Resources Department from January 1, 1999, to April 30, 2001. Throughout his career, Amarjit Singh-I contributed to the administrative framework of Punjab before retiring from service.
