Currently serving as Secretary in the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry since 21 August 2024, he has held various positions including Additional Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, Principal Secretary, Development Commissioner, and Commissioner & Secretary. Proficient in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, he continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
