Amardeep Singh Bhatia, an IAS officer of the 1993 batch belonging to the Nagaland cadre, is currently serving as the Secretary at the Department of Commerce. He holds a B.E. in Electronics and a P.G. in International Development Policy from Duke University. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, Bhatia was born on 18/11/1967.
