Amalendu Ghosh, born on April 30, 1946, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1989 batch, West Bengal cadre. He served in the Health and Family Welfare Department, holding the position of Joint Secretary from April 19, 2005, to April 30, 2006. His career includes roles as Director, Joint Secretary, and Additional Executive Officer. A graduate by education, Mr. Ghosh contributed to various administrative functions during his tenure in the IAS.
