Alok Vardhan Chaturvedi, born on 25 September 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 Bihar cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Electronics and an M.B.A. in Business Administration. Over his career, he served in various capacities including Director General, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Resident Commissioner, Secretary, Managing Director, Additional Finance Commissioner, Additional Commissioner, Director, Deputy Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Development Commissioner, Additional District Magistrate, and Sub-Divisional Officer. His most recent position was Director General of the Directorate General of Foreign Trade from 24 July 2019 to 30 September 2019.
