Alok Tandon, born on 22 September 1962, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and a postgraduate degree in Public Policy from Princeton University, along with a Diploma in Management. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Managing Director, and Commissioner. His most recent position was Secretary in the Department of Mines and Minerals from 29 January 2021 to 30 September 2022.
