Alok Kumar I, born on 28 June 1963, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.E. in Civil Engineering and an MBA in Finance from IGNOU. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Principal Secretary, Chairman, Development Commissioner, Director General, Managing Director, Transport Commissioner, Secretary, District Magistrate, and Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Secretary in the Energy Department at New Delhi from February 2021 to June 2023. He was honored with the Census Silver Medal during his service.
