Alka Panda, born on 18 July 1957, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Odisha cadre. She holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in Chemistry. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including District Magistrate, Deputy Secretary, Additional Secretary, Commissioner & Secretary, Chief Electoral Officer, and Additional Director General. Her most recent position was Director General in the Consumer Affairs Department from 29 July 2016 to 31 July 2017. She also held the role of DG & Special Secretary. Her extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the Odisha government.
