Akunuri Naresh, born on 20 June 1992, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2022 batch, assigned to the Maharashtra cadre. He holds an M.Tech. in Communication and a B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication from IIT Madras. Currently, he serves as the Municipal Commissioner at Chandrapur Municipal Corporation, Maharashtra, a position he has held since 13 December 2025. Prior to this role, he worked as a Project Officer-cum-Assistant Collector. Naresh continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
