Akshat Verma, born on June 9, 1990, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2017 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from IIT Roorkee. Currently, he serves as the Special Secretary in the Planning Department of Uttar Pradesh since October 28, 2025. His previous roles include Assistant Secretary, Assistant Collector and Magistrate, and Municipal Commissioner. Verma continues to contribute to the administrative framework of Uttar Pradesh through his service.
