Akhilesh Singh, born on 26 July 1966, is a 2008 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. Currently serving as the Divisional Commissioner at Basti since 1 January 2024, he is part of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Throughout his career, Singh has held various positions including Divisional Commissioner Director, Collector and District Magistrate, Special Secretary, District Magistrate, and Additional Commissioner. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service, contributing to the administration of Uttar Pradesh.
