Akash Tripathi, born on 22 June 1975, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 1998 Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.E. in Electronics & Telecom Engineering and an M.B.A. in Finance from Devi Ahilya University, Indore. Currently, he serves as Managing Director at the Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd., Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Delhi, since 26 August 2025. His past roles include Additional Secretary, Chief Executive Officer, Principal Secretary to Government, Secretary, Managing Director, District Collector, Commissioner, Mela Adhikari, Sub Divisional Officer, Assistant Collector, and Additional Collector. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
