Ajoy Sharma, born on 05/12/1973, is a 1999 batch IAS officer of the Punjab cadre. Currently serving as Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Labour and Employment, New Delhi since 31/12/2025, he holds a B.Tech., M.Tech., and an M.P.P. from Princeton University, New Jersey, USA. His extensive career includes roles such as Managing Director, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Financial Commissioner, Principal Secretary, Special Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Chief Executive Officer, Joint Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, and Chief Vigilance Officer. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
