Ajoy Kumar Das, born on February 1, 1943, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Physics and a postgraduate degree in Applied Mathematics. During his career, he served in various capacities including Additional District Magistrate and Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Joint Commissioner in the Social Justice and Empowerment Department from May 1, 1998, to January 31, 2003.
