Ajoy Kumar, born on 30 September 1960, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 Bihar cadre. He holds a graduate degree in History and a Diploma in Management. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Chief Vigilance Officer, Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Vice Chairman, Additional Magistrate, Deputy Development Commissioner, Additional Registrar, and Sub-Divisional Officer. His most recent position was Secretary at the National Commission for Backward Classes in New Delhi from 31 July 2019 to 30 September 2020.
