Ajitabh Sharma, born on 11 December 1972, is a 1996 batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre. He holds a B.Tech. degree from IIT Delhi. Currently, he serves as the Additional Chief Secretary in the Energy Department of Rajasthan since 26 December 2025. Throughout his career, Sharma has held various positions including Chairman, Managing Director, Principal Secretary to Government, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Secretary to Chief Minister, Commissioner, Collector and District Magistrate, Director, Additional Commissioner, Deputy Secretary, Additional Collector, and O.S.D. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
