Ajit Roy, born on 25 February 1983, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2013 batch, AGMUT cadre. He currently serves as Secretary to the Governor of Mizoram. Mr. Roy holds a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur, an M.A. in Economics from JNU Delhi, and a MicroMasters in Development Economics from MIT, USA. His previous roles include Special Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Commissioner, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, and Assistant Secretary. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
