Ajit Kumar Tandon, born on 21 February 1946, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1988 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He served in various capacities including Commissioner, District Magistrate, District Collector and Magistrate, Additional Director, and Special Secretary. His most recent position was Special Secretary in the Department of Labour and Employment from 1 November 2002 to 28 February 2006. Mr. Tandon holds a graduate degree and has contributed to the administrative framework of Uttar Pradesh during his tenure.
