Ajit Kumar Singh, born on April 3, 1956, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Rajasthan cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Physics and a postgraduate degree in Sociology. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Commissioner, Principal Secretary, Secretary, Divisional Commissioner, Member, Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Secretary, Additional Collector, Managing Director, and Sub-Divisional Officer. His most recent position was Commissioner at Rajasthan, starting September 1, 2010, within the Departmental Enquiries Department.
